This first photo is my first-ever contribution to National Postcard Week here in the USA. I sent out close to 100 of these, and received as many back from other swappers.

One of my favorite things about warmer weather is the opening of our farmers markets.
I started a weight loss program back in November, and have done really well with it. I eat 30 grams of protein with every meal, and limit carbs. When I bought this large bag of dog food, it struck me just how much weight I've lost. That bag is HEAVY and bulky! To think that I was carrying even more than that around every day was quite eye-opening. No wonder I feel so much better!
I've been trying to walk my dog at least 5 days a week... We like the dog park not too far from here. Leia is the black & white sweetie in these photos:
My last two pictures come from dance recital season. The one on the left is my daughter with a little ballerina named Addie, who's the daughter of her friends Drew and Megan. The collage on the right comes from an old photo album of mine, with several pix from my daughter's recitals when she was little. I asked my daughter how it felt to be on "this side" of the recital, and I could tell she was stoked. I have to admit that I was too -- I love seeing my daughter grow up, and dance was a big part of her life, as well as mine.
And, I'll leave you with this -- I'm ALWAYS ready for summer!
